FEATURES OF THE ORAL STATUS OF PATIENTS 60 YEARS OLD OR MORE WHICH ARE BELONGING TO THE PREFERENTIAL CATEGORY AND BEING IN A RANK OF THE DECREED CONTINGENTS

The review of literature concerning features of the oral status of patients 60 years old or more which are belonging to the preferential category and being in a rank of the decreed contingents (liquidators of the Chernobyl accident (liquidators), residents of Leningrad who at children's age endured blockade ("blockade survivors"), former prisoners of fascist concentration camps, etc.)
The conclusion becomes that allocation of decreed groups of people is justified. This contingent is most subject to risk of the oral diseases, having the specific features including association with all-somatic polymorbid pathology. Knowledge of specific features of oral pathology and its communication by the all-somatic polymorbid status will allow the dentist to increase efficiency of treatment-and-prophylactic actions.
