Summary:
The article presents data on the impact of the geriatric status and geriatric syndromes, the detection of the frailty syndrome on the development of non-fatal and fatal complications after routine coronary artery bypass grafting. Determined correlation between anthropometric data and the presence of the frailty syndrome in patients after routine coronary artery bypass grafting. An analysis of published data on ongoing studies of the syndrome of reduction of gait, the influence of anxiety-depressive syndrome, sarcopenia and the syndrome malnutrition as predictors of non-fatal and fatal complications after routine coronary artery bypass grafting. The article also covers the presence of androgen deficiency, its correction and results in the events in patients after routine coronary artery bypass grafting. Estimate contribution of direct the frailty syndrome for non-fatal and fatal outcomes in the short and long term after the scheduled coronary artery bypass surgery.
