By the method of analytical observation, we studied the effect of cellular chronoblockers on the restoration of masticatory function in patients with partial adentia. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that high-carbohydrate eating habits and chronic inflammatory processes in periodontitis remain significant factors that accelerate the development of signs of premature aging and worsen the dental status of the population. Occlusion disorder, pain syndrome during chewing and tooth loss form pronounced functional and aesthetic defects that require an integrated approach. The study included 80 patients aged 55-75 years who underwent removable prosthetics against the background of limited carbohydrate intake and intake of NIKA-MSM and NIKA-Memoton chronoblockers. Evaluation of the maximum strength of the occlusive interaction showed that taking the drugs contributed to an increase in chewing efficiency, especially in patients with normal BMI and initial pain complaints. The data obtained allowed us to conclude that cellular chronoblockers can be considered as a promising component of comprehensive dental rehabilitation and prevention of subjective manifestations of premature aging.
Keywords premature aging, chewing efficiency, cellular chronoblockers, maximum strength of occlusal interaction.
