Сardiovascular diseases (CVD) continue to be the most urgent health problem in most countries of the world, including the Russian Federation, despite significant progress in recent decades in the field of diagnosis and treatment of this pathology. Coronary heart disease (CHD) is the leading cause of death worldwide. Despite the improvement in the quality of life after myocardial revascularization in myocardial infarction, a number of patients develop or increase cognitive impairment. In this regard, studies aimed at studying the relationship between cognitive impairment and clinical outcomes in a growing population of elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) are relevant.
