The aim of the study was to study the level of medical and hygienic knowledge of women about the syndrome of premature aging and motivation to conduct a comprehensive prevention of its development. The original questionnaire was developed and applied in the course of the study. In General, the level of awareness of patients about the need for special therapy and lifestyle modification should be characterized as average, knowledge about the therapeutic possibilities of hormone replacement therapy is at an extremely insufficient level, physical activity is insufficient, information about the optimal level of physical activity in patients is also insufficient. At the same time, a sufficiently high level should be characterized by a desire to improve the quality of their knowledge on the successful overcoming of climacteric syndrome, especially in the age group of 50 years – 54 years. The obtained data testify to the importance of the therapeutic literacy learning and informing patients about the possibility of treatment in climacteric syndrome, including from the point of view of prevention of premature aging syndrome.
