Summary:
The problem of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis because of its prevalence among people of middle and old age is quite a serious problem for almost all modern and economically developed countries. The aim of our study was to investigate the level of uptake of patients and their adherence to therapy as the main predictors of assessing the impact of existing health education on osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in geriatric practice programs. The article first identified, studied and structured evaluation of the main predictors of the effectiveness of existing health education on osteoporosis and osteoarthritis in geriatric practice programs. It is shown that a proportional relationship between the level of uptake of patients clinically diagnosed with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, and its actual prevalence. The correlation relationship of patients' adherence to therapy appointed in primary and re-visiting general practitioner, as well as studied the major predictors of increasing and decreasing adherence to therapy. identifying, structuring and as well as the introduction into clinical practice of such predictors as the level of uptake of patients and their adherence to the therapy will not only assess the existing medical and educational programs, will be an important aspect to enhance the effectiveness of diagnostic search of osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, will not only help to eliminate the risk factors, modify your lifestyle, increase physical activity, reduce the risk of falls and fractures related, but also contribute to the initiation of treatment and increase adherence to it. Thus, it prolonged the period of active longevity and improved quality of life for patients of older age groups.
