The article deals with the problem of evidence in geriatrics and preventive medicine in the practice of a cosmetologist. It is shown that evidence-based preventive medicine involves combining individual practical experience of various experts and independent scientific evidence from systematic research. The article substantiates the position that the production of guidelines, manuals, instructions, and recommendations based on the above principles and the implementation of these principles in the practical work of various specialists gerontological services will contribute to improving the quality of gerontological care, security, creating a functional environment which is friendly to elderly people, which will ultimately improve the quality of life and level of independence of people's lives in older age. Also in this article it is shown that evidence-based preventive medicine is the basis for security professionals in cosmetic practice.
