In order to assess the amount of risk contingency adverse outcome due to the development of chronic heart failure (CHF), with the severity of myocardial dysfunction in the conduct of the general practitioner in elderly patients underwent comprehensive clinical and echocardiographic and laboratory examination of 198 patients suffering from essential hypertension stage II , whose average age was equal 68,3 ± 1,8 years. To calculate the value of individual risk of death from heart failure patients have used the Seattle model. Found that isolated diastolic dysfunction corresponds to a low risk of death, and high risk - combined systolic and diastolic type, the value of CHF FC is associated with risk of death, that we can consider it as a valid predictor of increasing the probability of an adverse outcome. Conduct a rapid assessment of the risk of death in the dynamic observation of patients with CHF in older age groups will allow time to appoint the necessary corrective interventions and monitor the effectiveness of their implementation.
Keywords chronic heart failure, hypertension, myocardial dysfunction, the risk of death.
